Wandering Waibels

 Our travel all went smoothly and we made it to Spain Monday evening. We traveled south from the Barcelona airport to Sitges to spend our first day of vacation at the beach.  We were all tired but enjoyed a delicious paella for our first dinner. We were up by 5am and got to have a  peaceful morning at the beach. Then in the afternoon we moved to Barcelona and got checked into our air BNB, which has an amazing view of La Segrada Familia. We walked around our new neighborhood and then met up with my parents and Kyle’s family. Here are a few details the kids want to share from our first few days: -There are lots of statues and pigeons -Carter counted 9 different modes of transportation we’ve been on so far -TIRED! Today we are setting out on our European vacation! We spent the last few days finishing up school, playing a playing recital, gardening and preparing the yard, packing, tying up loose ends at work, cleaning the house, and getting the animals ready to hold down the fort at home. We are on the Max on the way to the airport to start our 24 hours of travel until we arrive in Barecelona at 9:20am Monday. We are flying through Iceland and Amsterdam on our way.  Here is our itenerary:  May 28 Sitges May 29-June 3rd Barcelona, Spain June 3-12 Disney Cruise with stops in Marseille, Livorno, Kefalonia, Athens, Santorini, and Naples June12-17 Rome, Italy June 17-20 Lugano, Switzerland  June 20-22 Milan, Italy June 23rd long layover in Iceland  June 23rd arrive home Check back here for picture and stories of our travels.  ;)
